«Gracie absolutely loved this book. She has recently became really interested in the weather and in particular the role of the Sun, so this was the perfect book for me to read to her. What I loved about the book was that it gave us a great opportunity to learn and discuss the benefits of the Sun and what the sun provides us with, Gracie was really surprised and interested to hear how the flowers and plants would die without the sun’s light, it was a fantastic learning opportunity and it allowed us to explore the topic in much more detail.». «The themes of space travel, rockets and icecream really appealed to my 2 eldest boys and sprouted lots of conversations. Also inspired the boys in play whilst the youngest enjoyed looking at the pages. The children found the story engaging and amusing and they especially liked the bit about ‘brain freeze’. «The illustrations are eyecatching as well as colourful and really appealed to my 4 year old. He loved the story line as ice cream is also one of his favourite things and he loves the idea of space and rockets. It really captured his imagination and made him laugh which is always a good thing. He has asked for it every bedtime since it’s arrival. Definitely a thumbs up! «. From toppsta.com
