Winnie and Wilbur Under the Sea

Valerie Thomas nació en Australia y ha vivido allí la mayor parte de su vida. Ha viajado por todo el mundo, y trata de organizar su vida de modo que nunca tenga que experimentar otro invierno. Solía vivir con un enorme gato negro exactamente igual a Wilbur, pero por suerte su casa no era negra. Es profesora y viajera. La serie de Winnie The Witch, su obra más conocida, ha vendido más de cinco millones de ejemplares en el mundo.

Korky Paul nació en Harare, Zimbabue en 1951. Su nombre real es Hamish Vigne Christie Paul. Estudió en la Escuela de Arte de Durban, en Natal, Sudáfrica y luego pasó tres años trabajando para una agencia de publicidad en Ciudad del Cabo. En 1976 “huyó a Europa” y consiguió un trabajo ilustrando y diseñando libros educativos en Grecia. Se mudó a Los Ángeles, donde estudió cine de animación en el Cal Arts de California. Actualmente es una figura muy reconocida en el mundo de la literatura infantil.
