The Boy Who Sailed the Ocean in an Armchair

Lara Williamson nació y estudió en Irlanda del Norte. Después de trabajar en Marie Claire e independientemente para varias revistas como ELLE y New Woman, finalmente se estableció en J17 donde, como editora de belleza, escribió y diseñó tomas.

Lara ganó los premios Jasmine por el mejor artículo en un título juvenil y más recientemente recibió una mención honorífica en Undiscovered Voices 2012. A Boy Called Hope, la primera novela de Lara, fue elegida para el premio Waterstones Children’s Book 2015 y el Independent Booksellers ‘Week Award 2014. Actualmente vive en Londres con su familia.
